This product utilizes conductive yarn as its core raw material to construct an electromagnetic shielding barrier through a weaving process. Its structural composition differs fundamentally from that of traditional composite fabrics:
Conductive Yarn: Spun from a composite blend of metal fibers (such as copper, nickel, or stainless steel) and polyester fibers, this serves as the primary medium for achieving the shielding function. The metallic components form a continuous conductive network capable of efficiently reflecting and absorbing electromagnetic waves, thereby blocking the penetration of RFID signals (covering frequency bands such as 13.56 MHz) and electromagnetic radiation (EMF). This design effectively resolves the issues typically associated with pure metal fabrics-namely, their susceptibility to breakage and unstable conductivity.
Base Fibers: Incorporated alongside conventional textile materials-such as polyester fibers-these components enhance the fabric's fundamental performance characteristics. They ensure the material's flexibility, abrasion resistance, and processability, thereby preventing common defects associated with fabrics composed solely of conductive elements, such as excessive stiffness or fragility.
With a weight of 100 g/m² (±10 g), the fabric strikes an optimal balance between shielding efficacy and lightweight thinness. Produced with a standard width of 53/54 inches, the woven structure ensures a dense, tight-knit texture that resists unraveling, resulting in superior overall stability.
