Cut Resistant Fabric
HMPET-2290TPU is a high-performance woven fabric that combines cut resistance and waterproofing, specifically designed for demanding protective environments. The fabric is made from UHMWPE and polyester, and treated with a black waterproof TPU membrane lamination process. As the core carrier of its cut resistance, UHMWPE fiber, with its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, is a globally recognized high-end protective fiber material, boasting a strength up to 15 times that of steel, effectively resisting cuts and punctures from sharp blades and tools. Combined with the durability and structural stability of polyester fiber, the fabric, woven using a precision machine process, has achieved EU EN388:2003 Level 5 cut resistance certification. The 290g/SQM±30g weight design achieves a balance between protection and portability, avoiding the restrictive feeling of heavy fabrics while ensuring structural strength; it is available in 57"/58" widths. The black waterproof TPU membrane lamination process gives the fabric its waterproof properties.
The woven process gives the fabric excellent structural stability and abrasion resistance, and its service life far exceeds that of ordinary protective fabrics.
